Politics, as it is today, has assumed a worrisome dimension, requiring a worldly cleverness that I do not possess. Some politicians are like an exclusive breed. It appears you want something for them that they don’t want for themselves or dream more for them than they do for themselves or the people.

TRANSITING from a life actively dedicated to the service of Christ and His Church is now my main challenge. It is, therefore, best for me, at the moment, to maintain a priestly life of intimate communion with Christ who holds the future. I have learned many things, and I have some memories that will stay with me for good. I am eternally grateful to you, my friends and supporters, for your self-abnegation and the confidence reposed in me. I trust that the bonds of positive friendship forged will endure. I express my deepest gratitude to Edolites in the diaspora for trusting that my priestly calling and training offer reasonable grounds to believe in me.

Thanks for your assurances of love and support. Our shared dreams for Edo 2024 may not be fulfilled in the Shepherd Leader you thought or hoped for but trust that God has a plan even when things move in another direction. In His will, is our peace. Rest assured, I will do everything within permissible nonpartisan boundaries of my calling to ensure the momentum continues unhindered and untainted. Let us remain steadfast as a family on our platforms as I promise to actively engage in discussions that benefit the well-being of Edo people. TRUE LOVE NEVER DIES.
