Rev. Fr. Andrew Obinyan of St. Francis Catholic Church, Benin, has said that after much calls and pressure from well-meaning Edo people and Nigerians, he has obliged to the calls and ready to contest the forthcoming governorship election in the state.

Fr. Obinyan disclosed this on Monday when he paid a visit to the secretariat of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Edo State council, Benin. The Catholic Priest said being a trained priest, he is well equipped to serve the good people of Edo.
